I'm getting bored with Rara Avis Research, recently founded Statiksoft, and am having a blast working on other things, so thought it was about time I rebuilt my site, this time under my own name. Astute readers will notice that I am not the Elliott with two t's!
I haven't yet gotten around to importing the old content. I've been blogging for a long time...got started using greymatter from Noah Grey, and at this point the only reason I would import my old entries is because it feels like a token of appreciation for the software and words Noah published over the years. Later I moved to Movable Type, and switched to Wordpress when MT pulled the rug out from under its users. These days Wordpress still works great, but things like webob may yet tempt me to roll my own. I'm going to resist, and instead focus on making things work well on mobile browsers, and trying to get better at hacking Erlang.
