spam and inbox zero
Yet another reason to keep your inbox empty - spammers setting the wrong date on email so it goes to the very top of your list of messages. If you have more than one screen of messages, the spam gets mixed in with the older messages and you might think it is something that needs reading.
I've got 99 messages in my inbox now - much better than I've done in the past but I need to ruthlessly clean them out. I sure wish something like OmniFocus was available for Linux. Maybe I should start looking at integrating Thunderbird with Tomboy so that you could easily turn an email into an item on a TODO list, with reminders, etc. And Tomboy now has syncronization between computers, so I could use it both on my laptop and desktop.
